Connecting churches with churches for

community outreach

Our Valley’s Distinctions

  • The largest number of people living below the national poverty level in the US.
  • The largest number of Christian churches per capita of anywhere in California, approximately 1400.
  • The largest agriculture base in the world. Annual revenues of approximately 20 billion dollars per year.

The Problem

Churches in the rural valley context lack adequate financial resources, are overwhelmed with issues from systemic poverty, lack of quality education and healthy activities for children. The majority of churches have bi-vocational pastors who are often times isolated from each other.

Vision

We see mobilizing and releasing the human resources of churches, building citywide relational networks that work together to release resources to reach people bringing hope that redeems lives.

The Resource

With 1400 Christian churches mobilized and connected to serve together, “loving their neighbors as they love themselves” we see a hope and a future through the of poverty and pain.

What we do

  • Make safe and secure on-ramp connections to serve in one of the 53 communities in our network.
  • Provide relevant community information through Operation Central Valley.
  • Facilitate 4 hour valley tours connecting churches and leaders to the Valley Realities.  More info here
  • Offer community outreach and missions consultation services to churches interested in more effective outreaches.
