What We Do
Communities INC makes safe and secure connections for churches to serve with churches in one of the 53 communities in our network. The following are proven steps we have used in connecting churches to each other and to our Valley.
Presentation of Samaria
- We share the vision and examples of how churches and individuals have reached out to the Samaria mission field of our Valley and built significant impacting relationships.
- Communities INC does an assessment of the connecting church and its mission experiences, core values and expectations in preparation for a partnering church.
The Valley Reality Tour
- Most tours are three hours, we visit two or three communities and meet some Valley pastors.
- In the tour you will learn about the realities of our Valley through a simple presentation of stats, stories and pertinent history. Church to church connection
- After the tour we continue the conversation with a specific Valley pastor or two and ask what type of vision, mission and ministries their city has. Here we are seeking God for shared ministry vision.
- We discuss the shared vision and develop a relational partnership to reach out to people.
Church to church connection expanded
- Our experience shows it is wise to broaden the relationship from pastor to pastor, to a larger group of church leadership teams meeting one another. This step will prove very beneficial as the relationship extends to functional outreach.
- Communities INC also offers the new connecting church a practical orientation from an established connecting church that has years of hands on experience.
The Mission outreach
- Communities INC has 14 years of experience in many different types of church to church community outreaches and yet we seek a creative fresh Spirit lead vision to emerge between the two churches as they build relationship together.
- Communities INC will be available for ongoing consultation and facilitation throughout this process.
Post outreach debrief
Communities INC will convene a conversation to help you assess the impacts and improvements you see for future outreaches.
